During the 3rd Mindanao Conference at Royal Plaza Hotel in Butuan, City, the first         Mindanao Congress was conceived. The move is   obligatory to unify and consolidate all Triskelion forces and organs in the     Island of Mindanao.

            The First Mindanao      Congress decided, upon     dissection of the present     stagnation of development caused by internal and   unresolved turmoil in the    national leadership, that self-governance is best suited for the Mindanao Triskelions.  Conducting the democratic method through consultations, the federal type of  government was established.

            The Triskelion de Mindanao is a united front unifying and consolidating all Mindanao Triskelions. This umbrella   organization of the Tau Gamma Phi Fraternity, the Tau Gamma Sigma  Sorority and the Triskelion  Alumni Organization, is   strategically tasked primarily to “ADVANCE THE INTEREST OF  THE Mindanao   Triskelions” in all fronts.

   TdM identified its central task, that is, “Consolidating the Triskelion Forces in the Land of Promise”. As the first and foremost step to undertake the general call, a Mindanao island-wide census of Triskelions will be launched. This  will pave way in the assignment of a permanent number for each one of us in the jurisdiction.

            Following almost two years of waiting for development to concretize, the Mindanao Triskelions decided to take the challenge. This after series of  failures  have   been         experienced under the ultra-centralized Tau Gamma Phi government. With the Triskelion de Mindanao, as its united front, brothers and sisters all over the island  unanimously expressed their utmost support. As a result of the Mindanao Congress,  Bro. Ike Manaay, MDG, was appointed Director, Committee on Organizing and Membership. Preparations are now made for the island-wide campaign for free registration of members. This is necessary to determine the exact count of Triskelions in Mindanao. The activity will be launched soon and expected to last for over a year to accommodate each and everyone.
